Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No questions asked for refund requests within 7 days.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase
- You have not consumed more than 30% of the subscription's study content
- Technical issues caused by our platform prevented you from accessing the service
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Requests made after 7 days from the purchase date
- Subscription renewals (you will be notified 3 days before renewal)
- Partial months — subscriptions are billed for full periods
- Cases where the account is found to have violated our Terms of Service
- Change of mind after substantial use of premium features
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at billing@cognitiveengine.app with:
- Your registered email address
- Your Razorpay Payment ID (found in your payment confirmation email)
- The reason for the refund request
We process refund requests within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 7-10 business days, depending on your bank.
4. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings under "Subscription". Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
- Your learning data is retained for 30 days post-cancellation
- You can resubscribe at any time to regain full access
5. Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us within 30 days of the charge at billing@cognitiveengine.app before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.
6. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Razorpay Payment Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Razorpay is a PCI-DSS certified payment gateway. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
