By accessing or using Cognitive Engine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Cognitive Engine is an AI-powered spaced-repetition learning platform designed to help students prepare for competitive examinations. The Service includes flashcard review sessions, analytics, and premium subscription features.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Certain features require a paid subscription. All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method. Subscription prices are displayed at checkout and may change with 30 days' notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload harmful, defamatory, or infringing content
• Circumvent any access controls or security measures
• Manipulate leaderboards or gamification systems fraudulently

All content, algorithms, curriculum, and software on Cognitive Engine are the exclusive property of Cognitive Engine or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or content to us, you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it to improve the Service. You retain ownership of your personal learning data.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or achieve any specific learning outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cognitive Engine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
